In March 2000, PC Pitstop® opened its doors to the public and the world’s only PC diagnostic portal. Through their browser, a user would download a small Active X control that would run benchmarks and diagnostics on the computer. These results were then stored on our servers. Way back in 2000, PC Pitstop® had already implemented most of the key principles of cloud computing. Based on numerous technological break throughs, PC Pitstop® became a runaway internet success. Over 200 million tests have been run from our web site.
